Bellaria

Privacy Policy

Effective August 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what the Bellaria Circle virtual community center (the “Circle”) collects, how it is used, and your choices. It is part of the Terms of Use. Effective August 24, 2026.

1. Who we are

The Circle is a private neighbors’ application for the 64 homes on Bellaria Circle, Windermere, Florida. It is not the Association and not Access Management / Sentry. The operator of this application is the controller of the personal information described here.

2. Information we collect

Account: first name, family last name, house number, email, password (stored hashed), optional phone and a short note to neighbors, and a profile photo if you add one.

Sign-in providers: if you use Google or X, we receive the identifier, name, and email those services share with us. We do not receive your Google or X password.

Content: posts, comments, likes, photos or video you upload, notes to the board, and questions you ask of the documents.

Technical: session cookies or a sign-in token, approximate browser and device data, and security logs needed to run the site. We do not sell this information.

3. How we use it

To operate the Circle: approve households, show a street directory to neighbors, deliver posts and notices, answer Ask questions against the governing documents, and keep the Admin desk working.

To secure the Circle: prevent abuse, fix faults, and enforce the Terms.

We do not use your household data to advertise to you. We do not sell personal information as that term is used in the California Consumer Privacy Act or similar laws.

4. Who can see it

Neighbors who are signed in may see your display name, house, and what you post on Talk and the Circle.

The admin can see emails and membership details in order to approve seats and keep the roster honest.

Hosting, database, authentication, and model providers process data only to provide those services (for example, storing the database, signing you in with Google or X, or generating an Ask answer).

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect safety, or in a good-faith legal process.

5. Retention

We keep account and post data while your household is on the Circle and as needed for the security and history of the street. The admin may delete an account. If the Circle is shut down, data may be deleted. Backups may lag.

6. Children

The Circle is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 18 for this community). If we learn we have, we will delete it.

7. Your choices

You may edit your profile, sign out, or ask the admin to remove your account. You may close the browser’s cookies; the Circle may then be unable to keep you signed in.

Florida and other U.S. residents may have rights to access or delete personal information, subject to exceptions (including data needed to run a private community and to meet legal duties). Send a request to the admin through Write to the board, or as posted on the Circle.

8. Security and international

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures (including encrypted transport and hashed passwords). No method is perfectly secure. The Circle may be hosted in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you consent to processing in the U.S.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date will change. Continued use is acceptance of the update.
